On the occasion of the 50th HORECAVA, one of Europe’s largest exhibitions for hospitality and catering trade, which took place in Amsterdam from January 9 to 12, 2006, a jury selected the most innovative products out of four product classes, ”Food & beverage”, ”Interior & Design”, ”Equipment” and ”Services”. First, 16 products – four per product class – were nominated out of the 130 applications. In the category ”Equipment”, the jury – which consisted of entrepreneurs, journalists and trade experts – declared Eijsink Afrekensystemen with the
Vectron POS MobilePro to be the winner of the final contest. The reasons that led to this decision were according to the jury: ”Because it is a super modern machine that is easy to use – from a stand-in student to the professional waiter – and is equipped with all the functionalities to support the user in every possible way. Increase of sales and cost saving can be achieved when using the MobilePro. The competition took place for the sixth time.
